Despite the many climatic variations we have suffered through, our team at the Domaine works assiduously to pamper the vines. The disbudding and the racking of the plants continues as demonstrated here in our parcel "Chatains" of Premier Cru Vaillons. A first treatment has also been accomplished earlier this week.

On tuesday we started disbudding. This procedure consists in removing the buds that developped in addition to the ones we chose during pruning. We take advantage of this passing to also pick the bad weeds surrounding the plants that weren't substracted during mecanical hoeing. This passage will take about three weeks.
